Reflection 9
This week, I was supposed to go running two times. I was only able to get in a 3 mile jog that took 35 minutes. I went without my knee brace but I still need some more strengthening to do. I have turned to yoga and stretching even more as a substitute. I am using techniques from my "Flow" yoga class. It incorporates yoga poses and breathing exercises at a faster pace. During my 20% time, I clarified how my form should be so I can make sure I am not harming myself. My teacher Ms. Roy was a great help and showed me the correct form for Warrior 1 and 2. I am very happy to know that I can go to my teacher to ask questions about yoga. I found a website that is all about yoga ("yoga.com"). It is a website I can look through before my yoga classes to make sure I have my form correct. Next week I am going to run everyday after school. I hope to meet this goal and discipline myself. I hope to make a dinner with tofu for my family. I am going to find recipes to make the tofu as tasty as possible.
