Reflection 5

The fifth week in my project to dunk a basketball has definitely been my most successful. I continued with my workouts, of which I did three on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. Playing soccer every day of the week has kept my legs very tired, but I am still able to get a good workout in at home. As for the actual dunking, I went to the park today and tested my standing jump and dunking ability. My standing vertical seemed much improved. I'm not sure if it was my legs feeling less sore than prior weeks or my leg strength getting better, or both. I was able to solidly grab onto the rim from a standing jump. When I attempted to dunk, though, I got really good elevation but I was not able to palm the ball, something that I need to improve in order to complete my goal.
