Reflection 8
This week I was unable to go on my runs as often as I wish, but I continued with other fitness routines. I have proceeded to do the squat challenge and I have noticed the difference in the strength and muscle tone in my legs. I have also done my calf raises (100 every day). I have tried new diets as well. I went to Juice Press, which is a cool place to get healthy soups, juices, and smoothies. I had their Fountain of Youth smoothie which was amazing and I felt energized after. I have noticed how much stronger I have gotten since doing my exercises and I was able to do pull ups without assistance for the first time ever so I am very proud of my improvements. I have also been able to hold a plank for 2 minutes. These factors have allowed me to feel confident in my running abilities because I am becoming stronger, leaner, and improving my times when running. This week I am aiming for 3 and 1/2 to 4 miles runs so we'll see how progressive I will be.
