Reflection 8


This week, because my mom is doing most of the cooking, I was only allowed to make rice for my family. Wash and rinse the rice really well, until the water is clear. Place in a saucepan with double the amount of water and a little salt and stir once. Bring to the boil, then turn the heat all the way down and cover the pan tightly with a lid. Cook on the lowest heat possible for 10-15 mins without uncovering the pan. The thing that I learned is to make sure that you watch the heat settings so that you don't burn the food or under cook it.
