Reflection 8

This week was super busy, and I did not get as much downtime as I would've wanted to. Usually that is when I would practice and just relax but so many things took the forefront. Much of the progress made during this week was on account of my 20% time during our humanities class. I continued to watch JustinGuitar's videos, and am pretty far into his beginners videos playlist. This week I was hoping to really learn how to strum the song that my mother is teaching me (continuously) but much of my family time was spent going other places. I tried to practice the song independently on the weekend for an hour, and it was a bit fruitless, as it's really helpful to have my mom there to guide me  through chord progressions. I've employed the metronome, which can be found online, and it has helped me keep rhythm for a solid amount of time during my playing. I hope to make up for some lost time by next week's reflection.
