Reflection 3

This week I continued on working on my guitar skills. My fingers are still not used to playing just yet. Due to a bit of a busy week, I was only able to play for a few scattered hours during the weekend.  I started to listen to acoustic music during my studying time which has helped me become familiar with strumming patterns. When I did have the opportunity to pick up the guitar I used the video,
"Beginner Guitar Lesson Stage 1: The D Chord, Super Easy First Guitar Chord! (BC-111)" by JustinGuitar on YouTube. I usually flip between different videos and YouTube channels, but after much trial and error I found that I like JustinGuitar's videos a lot more than others. I practiced doing the D chord, and am planning to continue using his videos. I am on the tenth video out of 72 in his beginner's playlist, and am hoping that I will be able to continue on and finish most of the videos. I want to move on to the Intermediate playlist, by the end of the second week of November. I have also learned just recently that my mom is actually pretty capable at guitar (but hasn't really picked it up in almost a decade), so when she has a day off I am hoping that she will be able to pass on some of the knowledge that she has.
