Proposal

For my 20 Time Project, I am going to do a strength training journey.  This is something that I am passionate about so I know I can be successful.  My goal during this journey will be to bench press 155 pounds.  Of course, this is not the only exercise I will be doing, but it incorporates almost every muscle group.  As a result, it serves as a great benchmark for how I am progressing.  In order to be successful, knowing proper form will be crucial.  Mine is a little shaky, so I need to fix that.  I also need to find a workout plan that works for me.  This routine will allow me to be as successful as I can.  This project will be a challenge, especially when it comes to eating right.  In order to increase my strength, I must eat healthy.  My diet is not the best so it will be a tough transition.  However, going to the gym itself will be quite simple.  I enjoy doing so, so I will not have motivation issues.  Most of this project will be done outside of class in the gym.  However, during class I will be researching different exercises and techniques to help me get better.

  1. I love how you know what might be an obstacle - "My diet is not the best so it will be a tough transition." Keep that in mind, but take one day at a time! Good luck!
