Reflection #1

The first week of learning to play piano was not as productive as I thought it would be. So far all I have done is learn how to read sheet music. I haven't gotten the chance to actually play the piano because I haven't learned enough to match the notes to the keys on the boards. Also, it takes me a while to match letters to the notes on the sheet music. Once I get better at matching letters to the notes then I will be able to move on to playing music. I was looking for sheet music for popular songs but they are a lot more complicated than I thought they would. I think for now I'm going to find beginners songs just to practice playing the notes. Then, eventually, I'll move into the more complicated popular songs.
