Reflection (16th)

For my project as a whole, my success was higher than I would have predicted. Though my way of learning and my products were different than originally intended, I acquired the skills necessary to help me with meeting my objective. I believed I would use mostly tutorials as my guide, but instead found websites focused on explanations of concepts, and applied these to the sketches. For instance, an Internet resource supplied information about perspectives and vanishing points that I incorporated into my sketches. The goal was to notice the different features of an image and translate them onto paper using the newly-gained knowledge; I tried to identify my various points of struggling to continue. I observed my lack of accurate proportions  in sketching, and turned my attention toward finding different ways to make them accurate. I stumbled upon the grid method and tried it. My approach to learning the art of sketching was by means of noticing and there was not much of a set structure which helped me in keeping an interest.
