Reflection (15th)
In bringing learning to sketch to a close, I researched tips that I could use for when I put sketching in practice. My reference, http://www.creativebloq.com/illustration/sketching-tips-beginners-81516497 , taught me foundational tricks to make sketches neater and more artistically inventive. For instance, an interesting way of making the paper smudge-free is keeping a separate of paper underneath whichever hand is sketching; in that sense, the hand would not cover the pencil lines, and smudge it. Right-handed people can use this shading from the left to the right, and left-handed are opposite. In the guide, there was a tip for controlling the pencil; gripping the pencil closer to the point darkens the marks, and gripping further up makes lighter marks from having lower controls. It also stated making lines having different degrees of darkness helps make a visually appealing sketch due to variation. These tips should be useful whenever I sketch any image.
