I continued by using the grid method which I'd read about, and tried recreating the illustration below, “Winnie the Pooh.” It was not a simple procedure. I began by drawing in the lines for the individual boxes, and made sure that the sizing was right. I wasn’t sure where to start, but worked off the basic-shape boxes. For instance, I believed the torso and leg areas would be easy points for starting since there is a basic shape - circle; there are also curved lines. I moved to more intricate sections, and finished with his facial composition. There were a lot of lines by his shirt which was because of his outstretched arms and his jumping position. The method helped since something went in every section and all images had a spot on the paper. Hence, the method was useful and would be something to use again.
