This week I decided to try my hand at making lasagna. I started by taking ground beef and cooking it in a skillet, adding some salt and pepper, until it crumbled and wasn't pink any longer. I drained it and stirred in the tomato pasta sauce. Then I spread 1/3 of meat sauce in a lightly greased baking dish and layered it with 3 noodles and ricotta and mozzarella cheese. I repeated the process until it almost filled the dish. Then i poured 1/4 cup of water into the edges of the dish covered it with heavy duty aluminum foil. I baked it on 350 degree heat for about 45 minutes, took off the aluminum cover and baked for an additional 10 minutes and took it out of the oven. I let it sit for 10 minutes then served.
